The Procedure
No special preparation is necessary. The area is thoroughly cleansed; a pen-like instrument with a metal probe at the tip is placed very close to the skin, and a foot pedal allows electricity to flow. The procedure is very quick — a large number of imperfections can be treated in a short time.
Aftercare
Immediately after, caladryl lotion is applied to help heal and dry the area. The treated area will scab and heal on its own. Don't wash the area for the first 24 hours; thereafter cleanse gently with facial cleanser and water. Makeup may be applied very gently the next day.
Diolite 532 Laser
The Diolite 532 effectively treats vascular and pigmented skin imperfections on the body. The laser generates an intense beam of light absorbed by oxyhemoglobin and melanin, causing destruction of unwanted cells by selective photothermolysis — while leaving healthy cells intact.
Typical protocol is 3 to 10 sessions, 2–8 weeks apart. Results vary by age, skin condition, health, and lifestyle, lasting from 6 months to a year or more. Longer-lasting results are seen in patients in their mid-30s to mid-50s; patients in their 60s and 70s will need maintenance sooner.
